EM Simulation

We offer design, modelling, and simulation services for RF and microwave components, covering various technologies like waveguide and planar technology.

Our expertise spans antennas, microwave components (filters, multiplexers, couplers), microwave sensors, and microwave heating applicators (monomode, multimode, flow applicators, etc.).

We employ advanced full-wave electromagnetic (EM) and circuit models, including proprietary and commercial software like MATLAB, HFSS, QW3D, Ansys, and others.

En example of simulation of mode stirrers in multimode chambers is illustrated in the next figure:

Example of EM simulation

Mode stirrers are metallic elements strategically placed inside the microwave applicator that move during microwave operation modifying the electromagnetic boundary conditions. This combination of standing wave patterns creates a temporal nonstationary electric field pattern over materials, promoting a more even electric field distribution during processing.

The figure illustrates a transversal cut of a multimode microwave applicator, highlighting the varying electric field patterns that result from changes in the angle of the metallic moving stirrer.
