Our dedicated laboratory in Valencia is equipped with state-of-the-art RF and microwave instrumentation, enabling highly accurate assessments of S-parameters up to 50GHz, noise, impedance, spectrum analysis, temperature profiles and microwave heating.

We also welcome fellow researchers and external companies, inviting them to explore our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and utilize our resources for collaborative experimental activities within the framework of professional agreements.

Manufacturing Microwave Components

High frequency microwave components require sophisticated and precise manufacturing technology to ensure high yield performance.

With decades of expertise in CNC precision technology and manufacturing, ITACA-DIMAS is equipped with cutting-edge CNC resources, ensuring high precision across a variety of machining needs. Utilizing the latest in CAD/CAM technology, our design engineering team offers quick turn prototype services to produce early-stage samples for engineering evaluation and product functional validation.

These mechanical design facilities coupled with the high-speed machine tools within the area enable us to produce components with complex geometries achieving precision within 5 microns.

This combination of expertise and technology ensures that our high-frequency microwave components meet the accurate standards required for their applications.

Measurement of dielectric properties

Dielectric properties are fundamental parameters that define how a material interacts with a microwave field, and therefore they are essential parameters for designing wireless devices, sensors and microwave processing systems.

To meet the growing demand for fast and accurate measurements and with our experience in measuring the complex permittivity of over hundreds of samples per year, ITACA-DIMAS offers highly precise and reliable dielectric measurement services by utilizing the most suitable measurement techniques according to the material specifications (material type, size, shape, frequency, temperature, etc.).

Dielectric properties can be correlated with properties such: moisture content, density, chemical reaction, structure, curing, bacterial content, etc.

ITACA-DIMAS also offers cost-effective stand-alone highly precise dielectric measurement systems for different types of materials. (see bespoke MW equipment section)

EM Simulation

We offer design, modelling, and simulation services for RF and microwave components, covering various technologies like waveguide and planar technology.

Our expertise spans antennas, microwave components (filters, multiplexers, couplers), microwave sensors, and microwave heating applicators (monomode, multimode, flow applicators, etc.).

We employ advanced full-wave electromagnetic (EM) and circuit models, including proprietary and commercial software like MATLAB, HFSS, QW3D, Ansys, and others.
